wanna know one of the coolest things I noticed about Mr. Pastrana? He is there for others he rides with and takes time to say "hi" more than any other rider at that or near that level. Last thurs. when I got back to the pit he stopped and shook hands and had photos taken with some riders.. and he had not even gotten a drink of water yet. CTR Jon confirmed what i saw yesterday when Ian, Jon and I were at Croom. Travis and a big bunch or his buds were heading out to do a woods loop, and a younger rider was having difficulty gettin the bike started. Travis stopped, everyone else was heading out, and he waived the other rider on up when they finally got it started. When i rode with him, either I led or his other buddy that I met with him. Totally non selfish about that (which is more than i can say..dust..blechhkk, im leading  ) .
In the pit, i saw him working with a young girl that im told is the top female rider right now. He was out in the pit leading her over jumps, he'd slow, let her get by and stuff.. super cool, and It is no wonder the big sponsors are interested in backing this guy. Talent and personable, and a little nuts

I took the kids to the Monster Truck Jam on Saturday night and Travis was there promoting his "Pastrana 199" monster truck. That may be why he was down here in Florida this week.
